Good day Ladies...and I guess this is also good bye, for now :)
It's been a wonderful two years. You've been wonderful... you ARE wonderful. And I hope that wherever you go and whatever you do, you remember that with confidence, there's nothing you can't do, or bear, or be!
I'd like to thank everyone at Curvation for their vision to not only create a "sensual and liveable" line of beautiful intimates for beautiful, curvaceous women, but also for their wisdom in wanting to create a community for sharing ideas amongst us: Curvation Nation, a true confidence Blog. I encourage you all to continue the spirit of the Blog amongst yourselves, in your own communities at home.
I wanted to write something longer but decided not to. If the archives remain on the site, you'll always be able to access just what you need to read when you need it. And if not, just know that you always have an all access pass to YOU and your own positive, healthy attitude.
Yvonne wrote something the other day, which I'd like to share with you now. I'll let hers be our parting words.
Take good care everyone... "shine on" (Queen Latifah), "stay blessed"(Erica), "love more" (C).
Love,
~ C
"Life is so full of changes, if you don't believe me just check with a reincarnated cave man. If he could come back today he would ask what happened to all of the dinosaurs? What happened to the caves in which they lived? What happened to the square wheels? I am not sure that he could survive in times like these because of all of the changes. I say that to say that we now must face another change and that is the fact that the Curvation Blog will no longer exist as of the last day of the month. I will agree with you that some changes are necessary and good but I will be one of the first to say that I am going to miss the connections between what has become like family to me. I am grateful to have been the first recipient of the Project Curvation Award and for all of the blessings that went along with that. Meeting all of the other dynamic contestants, Actress Songwriter, Queen Latifah and the phenomenal experience of being in New York to receive the award. To be able to journey to Ghana West Africa to meet the youth in the Gloria Pointer Teen Movement face to face, as a direct result of the Curvation Award was truly a major highlight in my life. As I consider the change I am both happy and sad. Happy because even with the blog going away the memories will last forever and sad because I will not be able to read what is going on from C's perspective. Speaking of C, she is like an angel on earth and all I can say to her is that I pray she will continue to spread her wings and fly and hopefully she will land on the pages somewhere else that are as like clouds in the sky."
Grace and Peace, Yvonne Pointer
A PS from Erica....

If i could meet Queen in person i would tell her what a wonderful job you have done for her ;.)
